We had our engagement party on Sunday, it was so much fun! I never imagined there would come a day where I had that many people all around me that loved me. Usually, when I go to a big party, I just know a few people. It was amazing having everyone come together for John and I. We had planned on having the party in the John's vineyards but due to super yucky weather we moved it across the street to The Weeping Radish Brewery.

John proposed Feb. 14, 2006. We moved a house from Corolla to our property in North Swan Beach (in the 4wd section north of Corolla.) We completely gutted and renovated it. On Valentines day we were finishing up the tile and starting on the drywall. We went upstairs to the top deck and climbed on top of the roof to watch the sunset. John INSISTED on going to the car to get some potato chips.... he came back up and our doggie friend, Weezy, kept jumping up on the railing trying to get to us. I said, "Look at our little family." He said, "This isn't a real family." I told him we were and not to hurt my feelings! He then pulled the ring out of the potato chip bag, (as I was pouting and not paying attention) and asked me if I'd like to be a real family. I was soo surprised, all I could say was "BEEEEEEBBBBBSSSTTTEERRR!" and finally, Of course!!!
We're getting married on 10.6.07, yippeee!!
