Joe and Christina had an absolutely gorgeous day! It was warm and the sun was shining... a fabulous break between the last few yucky days we've had!
She wore a lace jacket and a gorgeous veil which she designed herself.... I kept telling her I was going to call her Laura Engel from Little House on the Prairie. The fellas that did the toast were hilarious!!!! I have never seen a toast like it... they said the preacher man needed the couple to finish filing out a form about each other. They sat Joe and Christina back to back in chairs and had them take off their shoes. They each held one of their shoes and one of their honeys. When asked a question, such as "Who has better hygiene," they would have to raise the person's shoe who they thought answered the question best. Apparently, Joe is much more indoorsy than Christina... on their first date, she came dressed in hiking boots and he had on fancy pants shoes. She told him that she felt underdressed and he said his hiking boots just got a hole in them. She said, OH!! What kind do you have? He came up with some brand that doesn't even make hiking shoes. So for the question, "Which one of you is more honest with the other?" Christina won.
