I just returned from a 6 night cruise with my hubby's wondersum mom! (I hate the word mother IN LAW, yick!) I feel like the luckiest gal in the world to have married into such a loving family. Candyland is so much more like a second sister. I missed my hub a dubby like crazy but he is off snowboarding in Colorado with some friends from college. BRRRRR!!!! I get to see him tomorrow, YIPPEE!!
We had the best time frolicking around Mexico. The weather was gorgeous except for the winds were super bad one night (75mph.) I couldn't sleep and kept thinking of Titanic. I kept looking over at Candyland and she was just snoozing away! Lucky duck!
We gambled $10 on the slots and here she is winning every bit of it back! I wish I was that lucky!
We went to Xcaret Park in Playa Del Carmen, here we are holding birds like beebsters! If you get a chance to go, it is absolutely fabulous! We floated down an underground river, went snorkeling, floated on big fat tubes, saw tons of critters....
One night was formal night, so Candy did my make up (which I never wear!) and let me borrow some jewelery and clothes. I took a wedding dress with me in case I found any models so I only had enough room for 3 outfits. We wore our bathing suits/cover ups most the time so that worked out perfectly. It was a fun girlie night. When we came back, we had our towel monkey hanging.
We had an emergency drill before we took off and had to put on our super stylish life jackets and head to the theater. Here I am with the Schitt Family as we leave.
We went snorkeling 7 miles in off of Key West in the open ocean (yikes!) by a lighthouse. Here Candyland is diving down for a better view....
I've never been snorkeling in such deep water before, time to get scuba certified!
